Hello Kitty 'One' Chiffon Cake

This is a sweet Hello Kitty 'One' chiffon cake for dear little Hui En who is as sweet as Hello Kitty and the cake :). The cake was made with lots of love. The chiffon cake was fruity strawberry flavored to enhance the "sweetness" feel. I missed making Hello Kitty very much and the Hello Kitty was made similar to my Hello Kitty chiffon pops I made for Tintin's birthday. Now Tintin also wants it ^_^". I decorated the cake with lots of hearts to make it look like hearts was pouring onto the 'One' cake (more love!) hehe.

Thank God they loved the cake! Happy blessed birthday to Hui En!

With love,
Susanne

  1. Hi Susanne
Do we need to have the number one mould and hello kitty mould for making the cake? And also I thought chiffon cake have to be turned over once baked.
Appreciate your advice as I am thinking of making it for my girl during her bday.

    Thank you.

    1. Dear Mixue,
Yes. I steam bake the chiffon cake like ogura cakes, so the quality of the chiffon cake is very soft. Without a tube and turning over, the cakes cannot be too tall. But for this height as well as small volumes like Hello Kitty, this is ok. Thanks.
