My kitchen smells so good this afternoon! Oh, the sweetness is perfect to our liking! Although the top crack & crumpled & a thin layer of "kuih" formed at the bottom, but I am still very happy with the result. How I wish I could show them to you! Thank you very much! I will follow your recipe to the T since you don't have a sweet tooth like me! :D (I am sooooooo happy!)San Sanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16941092174150243218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4001189483359117348.post-69052555783635803162020-10-21T16:33:26.211-07:002020-10-21T16:33:26.211-07:00Thanks Phay Shing. Most recipes just mentioned heat up the oil enough to cook the dough but I only found one reference for egg separated sponge cake some time ago that mentions a precise temperature. I prefer precision so that there is less variation in outcome of the bakes if you repeat. One of the reference I saw shows a picture of the oil heated until you can see a bit of swirl lines in the oil but no bubbling although no mention of temperature. I hope this helpsPhay Shinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05605174072497751030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4001189483359117348.post-11422245985740575242017-12-03T16:30:05.725-08:002017-12-03T16:30:05.725-08:00Thanks for your recipe sharing.
